your right the older versions are somewhat better but i still enjoy the newer versions nevertheless
I love Orson Wells as Rochester! I thought Joan Fontaine was a little wimpy.
I loved Orson Wells as Rochester, although I thought Fontaine was a little wimpy as Jane. My beef with the newest version is the ending. Where's the part where Jane is teasing Rochester about St. John? Or the part about having a son two years later?
