I agree with you Amy. Authors like Margaret Mitchell and Harper Lee wrote only one great Novel. Based on that, we can call Follet too a great author because Pillars of Earth is not a normal achievement at any means.
Well I think the difference of Gians was the bureaucratic politics, as opposed to his medieval setting. There was a lot more wooing and convincing, than shady deals and betrayals.

Anne is right, those two are great books. I also Agree with you Amy, Pillars of the Earth is an absolute Masterpiece, we can't really compare his other works to it, they're well written, but a candle next to the sun compared to Pillars.

Oh boy, Am I embarassed about that. I absolutely adored reading To Kill a Mockingbird and then seeing the supurb movie. I apologise to Miss Lee for making such a terrible error.
