No. Peeta deserved better, someone who is able to forgive and and forget enabling her to move on properly in life.
I completely disagree Eric and Haiya. For a second, let's forget about how Peeta is like the ultimate lover. Katniss is the strongest (to a realistic standpoint) person I know (and yes I realize she's a fictional character) I mean, can you imagine volunteering for a pretty much death sentence just so your sister can live? It's the ultimate sacrifice. If that doesn't prove that she deserves a good husband, I don't know what does. And on top of that, Katniss also went into the Quarter Quell expecting and wanting to die just so Peeta could live and vice versa. If that doesn't prove that they deserve each other, I don't know what does
