When you think about it Katniss hurt so many people emotionally and physically with the rebelling that she started.i think she is being selfesh; Wasnt it because the Captiol was looking for her started that destroyed district 12 and Peeta family. He forgave her ,why cant she forgive Gale?
the rebellion wasn't selfishly meant for Katniss. It's for the whole districts ruled under fear and human-rights-violating Capitol. The district 12's inhabitants are aware that they have to suffer prior to this
this is so true. made me realize what i didn't want to see. still leaves a very sour feeling knowing they were so close and so crucial to each other and then never see each other again. specially cause she mentions to miss him and wish he was there when she is alone in the woods. so to a point he would have forgiven him. it still seems like an extreme ending.

thank you, i understand why he left but he didn't have to if she just forgave him many others have forgiven her.

I agree with this. I hadn't thought of his leaving this way. I still wish there was something of a fairwell.
