yes it was. For people that think it came out like 2 years ago, it didnt. Vampire diaries came out in 1991, thats 20 years! idk when twilight came out but it was later then that, because i remeber when breaking dawn came out(being a little kid i didnt know what the drama was about) XD
And im only 13 so its got to be younger that 13. Sorry twilight fans

twilight came out in either 2005 or 2006 but i didn't really know anything about twilight till 2007 i think because i was already graduated from high school and i'm 24 now but twilight is what got me into reading vampire and werwolve books. i had only just starting reading vampire diaries when they turned it into a tv show. before that had never heard of any of lj smith's books.
