C.S. Lewis being polite in a letter to a child-- Sitting down and having a discussion with him, I suspect he would recognize *his own* introduction to Narnia was an effective way for anyone to be introduced to Narnia -- this isn't Jack saying, "EVERYBODY, read it chronologically!" I think it's publishers wanting to see more sets.
