depends on your taste in literature. I have a friend who can't stand blood and guts in movies or books. So she neither watches or reads anything that has that stuff.
This book is itself disturbing but what I like about it is that it's told in actual detail. Rape is a horrible crime but it happens all the time and we see how horrible it is when it's played out in this book.
