What's funny is that Shakespeare actually wrote a very bloody play called Titus Andronicus. The play has a character raped, her hands cut off, her tongue cut out. A man hand cut, the man later writes plots of revenge in his own blood. Then to get vengance on the men who raped his daughter, he kills them, makes them into a pie, and then serves said pies to their mother.....Now which sounds more disturbing? It's kinda funny when you get down to it.
