Diane Clavette That is nice to hear. I would definitely have let my daughters read the trilogy and later or during discussed with them. Also, as a teenager myself I would have dwfinitely read them.

Anna Bendewald Great question Launchingstars. I would have been fine with reading it as a 15-17 year old. BUT I hung out with some pretty rough friends, and had seen a lot. I'd have taken what Lisbeth went through as a cautionary tale. That being said, I'm a protective mother and I have a daughter who would be upset with this book's content while my other daughter would most likely find the book empowering.

They both read The Hunger Games and while one had to stop because Katniss kept getting injured, those parts barely registered with the other daughter as she raced forward rooting for Katniss to kick butt.
