There are other books about them, in which they get toghether;-)
Alisa: Yes, but I heard from people I know whose opinion I respect say they weren't all that good so I'll pass on them.
i am such a big fan, that i read them anyways but indeed they are a bit artificial and worse than the original two book. Nevertheless,I still enjoyed them.
i also firmly believe they got together again at some point in their life cause no matter how big your grievances are once you find true love it can not be replaced or forgotten. he might have learned to live without her but he could never love anybody like he loved her and share the same chemistry and moments he had with her with someone else which is why i think they made up cause rhett is a smart man who definitely would have realized that. i mean you loved someone so much you pined after them for ten years and spent so much of your life with and shared such a strong bond with and in the end you just walk away with "my dear i don't give a damn", sorry but it rings a little hollow. it's just not psychologically possible to forget and not care about someone who was such a vital part of your life. i'm not saying he was dying with love for her at the time but a little of the feeling always remains and can be rekindled with an effort(from scarlett's side)
