i suppose that it depends on your interpretation of Charlie :P he SEEMS pretty fine in general, but there are moments in there when you can't help but think that he's kind of deranged.
I didn't really see much wrong with him either, other than normal teenage weirdness. Everyone has a little oddball in them.
At the beginning I guessed autism, but then since nobody ever mentioned it I just began to think of him as a normal kid who was just a bit shy and odd.
I don't think he would have shared it. He probably can't even admit it to himself, let alone in these letters he's writing. A lot of times people don't understand WHY they're different, they just know they are.
