Yep, I agree...I have noticed the biggest haters are in the process of writing or have written a book or both. And Stephen King can bite me. *random comment. Some of his books suck @$$. I know, I read the garbage. Misery, Firestarter, and Silver Bullet were his best books imo. Did he feel threatened to slam her in that interview. What a self-centered, self-indulgent, cynical @$$...rant over.
I often wondered what King thought he was gaining by bashing other writers other than jealousy, ha ha.
Stephen King was asked about his opinions why can't he express what he honestly thinks?? He is in an interesting position to make a judgment as a well known and bestselling author who has had experience in the industry. Yes some of his books are not brilliant but The Shining, The Stand, Green Mile, Different Seasons (containing the novellas that became Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me) are brilliant! in my opinion much better than Twilight.
Hooray for someone finally bringing up the point that grammatical errors and typos are not SM fault alone if at all. Well said.
