Wow! I like your vision of those actors and actresses! Again, remember we need to find a good dancer for Jake and Sadie.
Good choices. I like Ewan McGregor for Jake, Craig T. Nelson for Deke, Robin Williams for Al, Gwenneth Paltrow as Sadie. Oswald is a toughie - I don't really like Toby Maguire, but he does kind of favor Oswald.
Oh, and I agree that Diane Keaton or even Meryl Streep would be wonderful as Mimi.
I think John Cusak is too old for Jake. I think he's pushing 50. Love Robin Williams for Al.
