I can see him in that role quite well. :)
He wasn't Baldric, he was the Prince ;-) The Prince (actually all of his characters on Black Adder) was very daft, but very happy and fun. I also love him as Bertie Wooster.
I too like Hugh Laurie would make a good Scrooge. He is an excellant actor and has proven he can play from this time, he's an excellant comedian and a serious actor as well.
