Journey 2011 Thanks to everyone who posted here. I appreciate it.

I’d like to refer to Zeger’s post here of Dec. 02, 2011. As he has correctly pointed out, the English word “fabulous” is “fabuleux” in French. So, 612 = fab would work either in English or in French. It would be the same. It would have the same meaning in both languages.

Regarding B: While living in an English-speaking country, Saint-Exupery wrote “The Little Prince”. That being the case, there’s at least a fair chance that B in B612 might mean the English word “be”.

Plus, a few days ago, I came across two interesting points.

I searched for “Saint-Exupery” on the internet, and clicked on “Antoine de Saint-Exupery – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?t...

At the end of the above article, under “References” – “Notes”, we find, in number 6: “6. The plane Saint-Exupéry was flying when he crashed in the Sahara was a Caudron C-630 Simoun, Serial Number 7042, with the French registration F-ANRY, which was derived from 'ANtoine de saint-exupéRY'.”

So we see that the author added a personal touch – a sort of code or enigma – to even his plane registration. Because F-ANRY contains some parts of his name. AN from Antoine. RY from Exupery.

Secondly, in the same “Notes”, in number 8, we are told: “ [...] He loved mathematical enigmas.””

Given the author’s warm-hearted personality and imagination, I’d say that there’s at least a reasonable possibility of a benevolent secret meaning behind B612. Especially since it’s the home, the dwelling place.

There are just too many possible combinations of numbers for the author to have chosen 612 at random. That’s what I personally feel. Of course, that’s only my own viewpoint. And B612 meaning Be fabulous is just a thought – simply my view – a wish upon a star…….or perhaps it’s better to say: a wish upon an asteroid……… for all of us…….

Meanwhile, December is already here. As in my first post, as the end of the year approaches, Happy Holidays to everyone, and may the new year be a fabulous one for all of us. May all our dreams come true. May we “see with the heart and not with the eyes.” As we try to do as much good as we can to others. May we strive to make this beautiful world of ours a happier place.

Annie Buddy I rather like the Psalm idea but since the author probably was unfamiliar with the psalms, maybe not. Be fab- or rest in the fabulous one. Well I wrote the book to direct kids to the latter. Oh well- it is fun to wonder!
