I had the barnes and noble edition and it translated Joseph
Hehe yeah Joseph is kind of tough! That translation would have been great! ^^
Some versions have translations in the footnotes. It makes perfect sense when you get the additional help!
oh yeah it does. But I was all on my own with Joseph. But still it didnt ruin the book not understanding Joseph ^^
I almost think he is supposed to be coarse and barely understandable. Kind of set in his ways, old school, non-changing, rigid and a religious zealot. Kind of the way my 80 year old dad completely eschews computers and cell phones. He's old school all the way and never gonna change!

I skipped all his sentences. Couldn't understand a word, but got the general tone of it.
