I wasn't looking for Interview with a Vampire series. It was a series from about the same publication time with similar plot characteristics. It wouldn't let me post my question without a title listed. Thanks though.

I haven't found them yet. While all the great suggestions have added many new titles to my reading list, I have yet to find Ellen Easton series. This is one of the many reasons I keep more detailed records of books I have read. Thanks for all of the help.
