Natalie Petitto I also read the Exorcist at thirteen. I read it in one sitting until finally night fell and the house became dark. I was so terrified I sat in a corner until my mother came home and turned the lights on-- and I had already seen the film several times.

Kimberly Even though I already watched the movie, reading The Exorcist was an entirely different experience altogether. Now that I think of it, I buried that book somewhere because I didn't even want to accidentally glance at it!
