They're just really predictable, not believable, the characters are flat, it's weird that it exists in the same world as Percy Jackson, among lots of other things.
The first one wasn't super predictable. You have to have a willing suspension of disbelief, and in most books, the protagonists usually win, what matters is is how they do it. The characters aren't too bad, but I think that obviously anything to do with Percy Jackson becomes winner, so it's not really much of a surprise.
They don't suck!!! I'm not a big fan of the Heroes or Percy Jackson.....
