Journey 2011 Thanks for your viewpoint, Valerie.

Re. the names for TG in question 2 of the quiz above:

Ambrosanthe - I combined the Greek origin names of Ambrose (immortal) and Anthea (flower)

Dovetta - dove (a bird) and -etta

Margot - meaning pearl

Sperina - based on the Italian word speranza (meaning Hope)

Hair and eyes:

In my view, I see TG as having short hair, light brown, which would light up in the sunlight...

Eyes grey or brown - haven't decided exactly yet - but definitely not dull as you put it. TG being sensitive to such an extreme (heart-wrenching), her eyes would mirror every single nuance of her soul...

Re: clothes: yes, definitely something simple, comfortable, and "true" to her - a skirt and cardigan would be my choice for her.

At the same time, it's interesting to picture TG in costumes of different eras, especially for special occasions. For the costume ball at Manderley, for example, perhaps a Jane Bennet (Pride and Prejudice) type of dress. (Jane, not Elizabeth, because Lizzy I think would be the type to add a special touch - unusual but always ladylike - to enhance her gown at least a little...)

Anyway, when you have a moment, perhaps you - and other readers - might like to think of a name or two for TG, and post them here...

Rj She says in the early scenes that she has a "lovely and unusual" name which most people cannot spell.

Rebecca had dark hair.

Rosa She would not have a made-up (and ugly) name like "Ambrosanthe." I do think her name is something Greek, but a real Greek name, not a Frankenname made up of roots. Plus, the actual Greek word for "everlasting flower" is Amaranth. Now that's a lovely name! "Sperina" sounds like some nasty health ingredient you'd add to a smoothie...and Dovetta is just silly. (I know a dove is a bird, by the way.) It was nice of you to come up with this quiz. I thought her name might be Penelope.
