Also, as I read this it sounds like I was complaining about LL. Totally not what I meant to do! It's probably my all-time favorite romance.
I loved Liberating Lacey! I think a lot of the "getting to know each other" happened through sex, so I do consider it an erotic romance. Like Baba, I like erotic romance that has a strong romance - this one was tender and sweet, too. I loved when he went to purchase the new bedding for her and discovered the cost, but he did it anyway. And when he dressed up in a suit to attend that function with her and she can tell the suit doesn't quit fit perfectly. Those little things make the story more than just about sex.
That's a really great point, Kelly. The getting to know you DID happen through sex. I've never thought of that as an essential of erotic romance but maybe it is. I agree that it worked beautifully here.
