THANK YOU! she (cashore) does this in everybook! i mean i can get over not getting married in one, but 2? really.....
yeah, I know right? I wouldn't be surprised if Bitterblue (and her love interest, whoever he is) ended up the same way ...
Didn't worry me at all considering what a strong character she is and she (Katsa) does explain that "to marry" is a form on inhibition she doesn't want...not always true but understandable in the story that was set.
that's what i didn't like: that Katsa considered marriage a form of inhibition. i mean i'd get it if at the beginning/middle of the book she felt that way: she was always afraid to fall in love, but her whole adventure with Po proved to her that there was nothing wrong with falling in love <-- which made her whole character development really good until the end. So here i was thinking Katsa's character "grew" only to find out at the end that she still doesn't trust Po (or his love) enough to commit to him. it's the way she viewed their whole relationship that irked me, it's like she was still singing the "no strings attached" tune and it ended up looking like she was just using Po for sex. Sorry bit that's how i really felt about her stance >.<
