Chris people commented on this book that they couldn't sleep at night: by that I mean horror.

Jamie the horror is all pervading in the book. it's the isolation, the spectres of the past - both in the hotel and in the Torrence family's past. The horror comes from the way everyone reacts to the situation they're in, and their growing fear of the hotel and Jack.

Library Lady 📚 Still, I didn't think it was strictly horror. More creepy. I was a good book, but if you want something that will keep you up at night, try another King book--there are lots that are scarier!

Alondra Miller Horror= sleeping with the lights on after age 25. Can't sleep without a teddy bear and checking that closet door that just won't shut. I do check under the bed, because "IT" was that scary to me! :D
