Beautifully said!
I read becuase it feels like your just leaving the world and your exploring the books world.
If the book is in first person I tend to feel like I'm that person, and still in third person I feel like I am telling some the story and it was me who did all the awesome things that the main charater did :D
Reading is great for imagination and just getting away from life, even for just twenty minutes, it does good getting away from it all :)
