True. I think Tucker is perfect for her. He accepts her for who and what she is and that's what she needs. Though Christian is also like her they didn't have anything more in common to bring them together. After the way Christian acted in the beginning I know that kinda threw her off and she stopped herself from being obsessed with him. (mainly for his looks) I think that Tucker could give her so much more than Christian can despite him being human.
I'm with you Michelle, it was assumed that Clara and Christian were meant to be; and I'm pretty sure that Angela was the one that set the breakup in motion. Not positive though. Any way that never leads anywhere good. And I'm sorry but Christian taking Kay home from the prom was lame. I mean if he was following his "purpose" then wouldn't he have chosen to stay with Clara. And if everyone will remember when she's early to the Christian scene and she does have a vision of Tucker, not a dream but a vision. However, she doesn't have the advantage of the months she does before Christian so she saves the one she loves. She has no reason to love Christian. Maybe in the next book she will but in this book she really doesn't. Does that make sense? I'm really looking forward to the next book.
