I agree. And even if not BW, there had to be someone better than Debbie Reynolds - she just doesn't look the part!
I am concerned that the chosen actors will not be able to pull off the characters. They seem rather bland and not firey and funny like the books.

I agree, Betty White would have gotten my vote too, but I am curious whose idea it was to cast Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum?? Ugh bad choice With the casting choices I don't think I want to see the movie because I don't want those people as the faces I see when I am reading the books.

I figured Cloris Leachman would've been adorable as Grandma Mazur.
When I heard OFTM was going to be a movie, I did my actor/actress cast. I picked Betty White first. I see her as Grandma more than anyone else!!
