Very nice. I enjoyed your thoughts on this. When I describe this book to others I always say there is no likable character in it. I actually felt a bit anxious at times towards the end of it because ultimately I connected with the dark aspects of the book.
No likeable characters. That is a very astute insight on your part. I never considered it. It probably explains why the book had a hard time being published.
