I found that true when I watched Shogun, with the exception of the amazing costumes.
marathon viewing session upon finishing the first book was FANTASTIC!
I watched them all after I finished the book reading book 2 atm kinda slow burn on page 250 but it is all piecing together
I'm very slowly chipping through Clash o' Kings. I'm liking it, not sure it's love . . . but either way the characters might lose each other they certainly won't lose this avid fan.
