My friend, who is also reading it for school, said the same thing. About a year after I finish reading it for school, I plan on reading it again. Hopefully the second time I will enjoy it since I won't be doing all that analyzing and taking all those quizzes!
Right? You will always enjoy it more if you aren't pressured to write chapter summaries and memorize the entire book. Some kids only read for school because they have to- and no wonder most of them hate reading. It's really depressing what our world has come to nowadays:(

Next year, my friend has to read The Hunger Games for Lit class. All my friends in my class are jealous, but I'm glad I don't have to read it. I LOVED that book, but when my friend reads it for school, the teacher will probably make her end up hating the book.
That book was amazing! The Hunger Games is my favorite book:)
