I would've hated the movie. The book was dark enough!
yes however the book is so good it is the only book that i have read that someone hasn't said you have to read this. It was wonderful!1
The relationship between the man and the boy was so moving. I cried all the way through and loved the ending
I agree. It's hard to say "I loved The Road' as it is the bleakest book I've ever read, but it's also one of the most profoundly moving books I've encountered. My emotions were raw by the end of it, and in it's own way, there is a dark beauty to it.
I read the book first and then watched the film. The film made my husband cry!
