M Did you find the lack of plot annoying?
Or how he broke his own rules when it came to worldbuilding?
Perhaps the poor punctuation.

Rodney Poor punctuation? Was it, or was it intentional? When it comes to writing, punctuation is up to the author. I actually found the punctuation to be effective. Single word sentences, for instance, proved very effective in conveying a message to the reader.

Anthony Roberts I did find pleasure in The Road, the dark poetry of the prose is outstanding. As a father of a little boy, the story had me in tears on several occasions and sparked a few bad dreams. A story so bleak that no hope remains yet the father is desperate to find even the smallest light in the darkness that might bring comfort to his son. Powerful, masterful story telling. I was so moved by it that my wife refused to read it.
