I totally agree with your sentiments, I think four of his books came out about the same time, enjoyed them all
If you think The Da Vinci Code was a great book, by all means get The Covenant of the Flame by David Morrell (the father of Rambo). A precursor to DVC, which it blows out of the water.
I thought it was great, the story was very interesting and it had a nice smattering of history throughout

athulya--do you mean me or someone else? are you refering to Dan Brown's books? i really liked them--fast moving and interesting.
I enjoyed it but liked Angels and Demons better.
