Cheyenne Hice i completely agree with you Max was terrible but she shouldn't have framed him like that. Pip ignoring all the people who helped her was wrong and if they tell the police then she deserves it. The ending was so unsatisfying.

Cass While I see your stance, I don't think this was necessarily out of character for Pip. Throughout the second and third book her character started changing as she was faced with more challenges. Pip lost faith in the justice system and did what she thought was right. Was it a morally right choice? absolutely not, but Pip was changed because of her experiences and this final step in her character expressed that. I think she was written to leave readers questioning what type of character she was in the series.

Elle Wilson I can definitely see where your coming from but I don't think it was a total 180. You could see her changing throughout the second and early third book. She was massively changed by her experiences, and probably trauma, and lost faith in the justice system, which we can see in her conversation with Charlie in book two. Of course I don't think framing Max was morally right, and I wouldn't defend someone who did that in real life but for a novel I think it was a brilliant plot point.
