Annika In the book, it did mention that the reason Nesta pushed away from being in the Inner Court was that she saw how happy everything was, and she feared that if she became a part of it, it could all be taken away. (I think either in ACOSF or ACOFAS it also said that she was confused and upset that it seemed that no one was hurt or affected by the events in ACOWAR, and she felt alone and pushed away.)

As far as her reasoning for not liking Rhysand, it's said that she never really liked him, she thought his attitude or mannerisms were obnoxious, and she didn't like how everyone seemed to fall over scrambling to worship the ground he walked on. As the book progresses, I can't find any reason why she would like him, given that he is openly hostile and aggressive towards her, and allows the other members in the Inner Court be the same without repercussions.

I do agree though, I can't imagine that Rhysand would have even considered keeping that information from Feyre in the previous books. There's definitely been some kind of unwelcome shift in his character in this book. It was wholly out of character for him to do that.

Chinara Guliyeva Yes! His treatment of Nesta is also something that perplexed me. He was a complete asshole to her in that book for no reason, was openly hostile to her despite Feyre telling him multiple times to stand back, and always inserted himself into their fights.

Carolina Oh YEES! I was so mad about how he was treating Feyre and Nesta! She was in a really dark place and everyone was treating her badly. I just wanted to hug her and tell Rhys to fuck off.
