I agree with you ! Kids in school are doing a lot more than what Sara is writing about. If they feel its not appropriate they should read something else.
Respectfully disagree. Some kids may be doing more but not all. If the whole series had this tone, that would be one thing and parents could steer their kids away from it if they so choose. Since the first books were pretty tame, the scenes in this one were just unexpected. It sucks for those who love the series and want to recommend it for teens because of how the series started, but then it goes too far into the sexual side of things in this one book, so the kids don't get to finish the series. Consistency is key.
How do u mean first books were pretty tame? They had a scene where she torture a guy. So extreme violents is ok for kids to read, but 2 grown up people sharing their love is a no?
