Not a fan of paolini ... the story has loads of potentiel that’s true but his writing is a bit too childish? I dont know how to convey the feeling, it seems ya, not adult ... the plot too straightforward ... like eddings yes that’s it, he writes like eddings
Yea, I understand what you mean. Not to be annoying, but I need to reiterate A Pattern of Shadow and Light. I just re-read it a bit ago and my oh my. I have a hard time suggesting because you've read most of what I have haha. I hope you find something though.
I feel like the last 2 Paolini books should have been edited down into one novel. There were too many subplots that didn't go anywhere, a couple of cool scenes that would have been better suited to a stand-alone short story or novella based in the same world, etc.
It was a really fun read, but not the tightest writing, and I wouldn't suggest it to somebody who had limited time for reading or isn't sure they like epic fantasy.
