@Rick, I agree with Chris. Please let's not forget that Cardinal of Kremlin is a true story. For that matter so is Red Rabbit.
I agree that "Cardinal" was well written and suspenseful, but I found it tedious compared to his other books I'd read. At the time, I read Clancy for excitement and don't get me wrong, I just read "Look Homeward, Angel" and "Lord Jim"; I don't need excitement to enjoy a book.
