Hi Lyndel - I think it depends on what drew you to the book in the first place. If it was the time travel element then you might try Deborah Harkness' series A Discovery of Witches. If you are looking for an adventure story with a strong female character, you might try a series called The Moneypenny Diaries by Kate Westbrook. Miss Moneypenny was the chief's secretary in the James Bond stories of course and it's an account of those times from her perspective. It has the added mystery element of her niece inheriting the diaries years later and investigating the background to her aunt's record of events. I enjoyed both of these series.
