Cassie Yeah! I didn't like how he got his grandfather back, and then just abandoned everything again by going through loops and...joining the navy? I was confused and it didn't work for me at all.

sophie_books I thought that the book was way better than the movie. The movie was good for people who havent read the book. when I first read the book I fell in love with the whole collection then I heard they were making a movie and I was exited but also a bit sad because I did not like it when they try to copy the book but fails. I watched it and almost threw up. They messed up all the characters the whole plot. Sorry Tim Burton I was not a fan of ur movie.

SystemGlitch I agree with you, why not make a sequel? Then we can see the dog from the third book and the girl with the hole in her stomach from Hollow city, it will make for a more interesting film, but personally, I prefer the books

Raven No! The movie cut a lot of important parts, and completely butchered the books, I was very disapointed when i watched the movie. If you saw the movie and didn't read the book, you would enjoy it but personally i didn't even like the film very much.

Devon Chapman Hell no, they tried cramming all 3 books into on film, characters were way better in the books. The books were defo more aimed at the young adults to older adults, whereas the film seemed very childish for me. They could have made it an amazing series, instead they ruined it. I had very high expectations, especially coz it was by Tim Burton but I was so let down

Rory I watched the book before I saw the movie and I really enjoyed the movie, but ever since I read the book I have shunned the movie because they made Emma a feeble character that relied on Jacob, but in the book she was strong and independent and had (probably) one of the strongest powers.
The characters were poorly executed e.g. they didn't show enough of Millard's smarts and knowledge and they didn't get most of the ages right.
Olive in the movie was like a horrid girl obsessed with Enoch, in the book she was an innocent lovely girl who was close with Bronwyn and she was only around 10 years old.
I found this a disgrace to the fabulous books that I have loved through out many years. it was poorly executed. it was as if Tim Burton skim read the first half of the book and then decided to make it up from there.
they also got Bronwyn very wrong she is far to young, in the movie she is around 10 and in the book she is about 13 (but acts 15 or so) and in the movie Bronwyn is loving, kind and a mother figure to the younger ones when miss peregrine is gone. but in the book she is just a little girl who lifts things up and throws stuff around
