I thought Downfall would have been a good end to the series too. Frankly, Nevermore was very disappointing but I still want to know how its storyline wraps up in Everwar...if we can ever get ahold of it.
Only read Nevermore if you're curious...but Downfall would be a good one to consider it to be the end. Where Nevermore left off was more like slamming on the breaks to come to a stop. It actually made me angry and to call it a cliffhanger is almost giving it too much credit.
