Technically explained, but not well. She can block anything that effects the mind psychically. All the powers she's immune to are only things that make you think your in pain and invade the mind. Jasper's power apparently controls emotions through their physical being, you know like with chemical changes and whatnot. Like I said its explain in the book, but not well.
Sidenote Alice's powers work on Bella when they technically shouldn't. She can tell the future by decisions you make, but Bella's mind is blocked meaning every decision she makes should be blocked also meaning Bella's future should always be blank when it comes to Alice's visions.
