Also something that just struck me as off is the the selective venom of these hybrids. According to her only males have the ability to produce venom which by that logic means the gene for it is on the Y chromosome. Which means when vampires change and their biology change venom production should only occur in male vampires, which is obviously not the case or Victoria wouldn't have been able to create her vampire army. Vampires and biology don't mix and SM shouldn't have tried to make it that way unless she had thought it all the way through.
It doesn't say for sure that all hybrid females are venomless though. It doesn't even suggest that all hybrid males have venom either. There is only one (that we know of) male hybrid, and five females. All existing females are venomless but that doesn't mean all hybrid females ever will be.
