Katie that is how i have gotten through quite a few books lately. Mostly because i lack the full time to sit down and thoroughly read and enjoy a book. Listening gives me the opportunity to enjoy whilst driving and working. They do allow you to get through those long boring drones of "info dumps" (that is the best description i have ever heard for those!) I think, tho, if you can get through those you will find the underlying story is really a great piece of work! just the same with Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. you think Melville was bad, Hugo included WAY more dumps but the underlying story was extraordinary, beautiful and worth reading!
