Sounds good. The movie got panned as the worse movie of the year, but it wasn't that bad. I fought against watching it because of the reviews then said to heck with it. From experience, I've learned that if the critics liked a movie, I usually don't. LOL.
I hate that everyone hates the movie so much! It wasn't the best movie...but it was okay for an introduction. I saw the movie first and it made me want to read the book.
Also...What is everyone's favorite scene? (In the book preferably)
When Jeb was talking to her and the fight scene. I wish they would have gone into more with Sunny.
"the fight scene" Lol which one? I liked Sunny, and I liked how Kyle was with Sunny...it made him finally seem more human.
really? I don't really like that scene... I usually skip to the part where Kyle has been knocked out and Wanderer is trying to save him.
That is the part I like the best. It is just the fight scene needs to happen to get there.
I like the whole sequence where she is trying to comfort Walter as he is dying and she saves Kyle after he tries to kill her. Jared seems to see her compassion for the first time and see her as more than just the alien in Melanie's body. I feel it is a critical scene in the story and I was disappointed that it wasn't in the movie, but after watching the movie a second time I've come to love the movie too. Just not as much as the book :D I also really love the whole sequence where Jared takes her to the clinic so she can get the medicine and find out how to use it to help Jamie.
