I think this comes to the whole team silence thing. Why keep it quiet? It reeks of trickery and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Actually a lot of readers expect the book to be about them because of all the hints even if they don't get to be together at the end. What they don't expect is that they would only hear D side of the story and never H. Like their whole relationship never existed.

Whenever she would say things like "I never said MTE was Dylan and Heidi's story" I always assumed she was just being funny. Like messing with people for nagging her about the book.
