I thought that Tobias's point of view was interesting and made the book better. I agree on the part of Tris dying and someone needed to take her place but I still think Tris's point of view was sometimes boring. I personally didn't like the book ending in Tobias's point of veiw. I think Veronica Roth could of ended it somehow in 3rd person. What do you think?
Oh I didn't doubt Tobias's view wasn't interesting at first. But it seemed like the more the story carried forward and the more he learned about himself. It was like he had a major identity crisis and mental break down at times. Was really hard to read for me after a while. I guess Tris being boring is a matter of opinion there. I was just in major eye rolling mode with her at times. As she always seemed to either be on the path to figuring herself out which I can root for. And then flipping to self righteousness that got under my skin as I didn't quite understand where it was coming from. As for ending things in 3rd person, that could have possibly been a interesting take on things. But I guess she figured since she wrote the story in the tone of the "people" involved. Wanted to end it that way too. I still vote for Christina being the ending voice as she and Tris did eventually get over their issues and came back together as friends.
