Trouble is, when you are a real fan of the books, its hard to look past it. :)
I agree with both Daniel and Anne. I'm an avid Reacher fan. I have them pre-ordered every year. Like most good books it's very difficult to get from a film the experience you had when reading. I enjoyed the first film by not expecting it to be a good interpretation of the character I love: as a separate 'entity'. Frankly, I think Reacher is larger than life and no one could interpret him remotely as well as Lee Child writes him.
