Haida/Sara would have to be pretty obsessed with him to go through all that for him, but Sara is the opposite of obsessed with him. She spends the whole book sending him away from her and is seen with another guy.
I know this is a reach but Sara is 38 and the music Haida left is a box of three of which Tsukuru only played the 8th track over and over again.
and shiro dided at 30 which is ten years after haida disappeared
