Hi. It's been almost 6 weeks since you posted this. I was just wondering if you read Moby Dick, and if you liked it?
We all have different tastes. I happen to be one of those who thinks "Moby Dick" was one of the all-time great novels. But maybe that's because I spent 5 years in the Navy and could relate to shipboard life. There are a lot of chapters on the science and business of whaling that have nothing to do with the fictional narrative. Maybe you could try skipping those chapters. That would cut the book down by almost a third.
