Mitali Two seasons? That's way too optimistic. Both AFFC and ADWD will be covered in season 5, and season 6 will be TWOW (if it's done by then, and if not, it will be original material).

C. G. Telcontar while not much in core plot advancement occurs in either Crows or Dragons, my thought runs to two season on HBO as well. My concern is that they will lose their core audience as fatigue sets in. The series is wandering further and further from the novels, and that's a further concern. It's tougher to reconcile the flaws in the series to the true events in the book the further along we go.

Mitali Huge chunks of the plots of these two books (which aren't all that plot heavy in the first place) have been cut out of the show - the whole Aegon storyline has been dropped, Quentyn has been dropped, Arianne has been dropped (though her plot seems to have been given to the Sand Snakes), the Iron Islanders may have been dropped, Lady Stoneheart has been dropped, Jaime's plot has been joined to the Dorne plot, so his story in the Riverlands has been dropped, and there's no doubt Brienne will do much less wandering in the show than in the books. Sansa and Bran's stories from AFFC/ADWD have already been covered in Season 4. Frankly, I'm surprised they have enough material left to fill one whole season, let alone two.

C. G. Telcontar If that is so, it hardly needs to be put on screen at all. If you don't have Aegon, what's the point of Tyrioin's Tom Sawyer journey downriver with him?

Mitali I highly doubt Tyrion will be journeying down the river.
